You Can’t Do It Alone
If you have ever seen the movie “Lone Ranger,” or any Western film for that matter, you will likely understand what the “cowboy” mentality is. All cowboy heroes portrayed rugged individualism — the “all I need is my horse and my gun” attitude. In a lot of ways, our society coddles this concept - not necessarily with guns, but with the idea of, “all I need is me to succeed” in entrepreneurship, athletic performance, and even within the personal development space.
Unfortunately, that attitude does not blend well with a life of faith.
Many would have you believe that your faith is a personal matter between you and God, but that’s hardly the full picture. The fact is that we need each other! Faith is a community experience. Are you ready to go deeper with God through community?

Why the Church?
Why did Jesus bother establishing the church? Why did he bother calling twelve disciples, training and living with them during his time on earth? I believe it’s because Jesus knew something about the spiritual journey that we tend to miss: we need each other!
What does it mean to grow in community? Why has God designed us in such a way that we need each other to grow closer to Him? These are some of the questions I will seek to answer in this class.
This Facebook class will cover topics such as why God calls us to community, how we can best grow in a communal context, what community looks like, and why we should go to church.
